A brief video clip to share where Robert Downey Jr asks forgiveness for Mel Gibson. I was deeply touched and almost moved to tears. I think it speaks for itself and I’ll avoid commentary except to say: I wish I observed things like this more often in Christian circles.
An example for us: Robert Downey Jr asks forgiveness for Mel Gibson

Wow, it takes a big man to do that in front of a microphone, much less a camera.
Wow! I had no idea. But I knew there was something incredible about the newer version of RDJ.
Your lone comment of “I wish I observed things like this more often in Christian circles.”, Amen! We are commanded to forgive (Matt. 6:14-15) and yet when it comes to our brothers and sisters we somehow forget they are still sinners, just saved by grace.
What an example of grace. Grace is amazing, it’s extravagant, and it’s free in disposing its blessings. RDJ might not give grace in its purest sense like God does, but he sure gives it.

Just great.
It has become part of my understanding that, when his people refuse to accept correction and direction, God sometimes shows us the way via people we thought were right outside his kingdom (and indeed often are).
